When do we pay the rental fee?
All rental fees are due upon car rental pickup.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit ranges from $300-$500. Deposits are used in the case of negligence, lost keys, police tickets, and the car not being returned in the condition in which it was returned. If none of these incidences apply, upon returning the car rental your deposit will be returned
Does the rate quoted include insurance, taxes, and all additional fees?
All prices reflected on the website are basic insurance prices. Any additional fees, add-ons, and taxes will be provided in the final quote. We provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees. The final price quoted is the final price you will pay.
What do I have to do to reserve the vehicle?
We would request your full name and flight information.
Is there a minimum rental period requirement?
Our minimum rental period varies by season. Our minimum rental period ranges from 3-5 days.
Do you have an airport location?
No, we do not. However, our office is 1km from the airport.
Upon confirming your reservation, we’ll arrange delivery of your rental based on your specified pickup location. We’ll wait for your arrival at the exit of the airport. When you are departing, we’ll wait for you at the “Departures” area to return your car rental. For your convenience, we can arrange delivery or return of your car rental from any agreed-upon location in Costa Rica.
Can the car leave the country?
No, car rentals cannot be taken outside of Costa Rica.
Is there a charge for additional driver?
We allow one additional driver at no cost. For any additional drivers, we assess a $5/day fee.
Can I use my credit card insurance?
Yes. In the event of an accident or damage to the car rental, we will authorize your credit card for the specified amount. You can then open a claim with your credit card provider for reimbursement.
What is your policy on cancellations?
We offer free cancellations.
We understand that there are many car rental companies available to you in Costa Rica. We aim to offer the most competitive and transparent rates. If you are no longer interested in renting one of our vehicles, we ask that you notify us immediately.
Prior to cancellation, if any payments have been made we will notify you to determine refund amounts. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
