This insurance, mandatory in Costa Rica, covers any damage you may cause to
another person’s property or vehicle. With With-U Rent a Car, you don’t have to
worry as it’s always included in your quote, ensuring peace of mind and legal
compliance from the start.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Many credit cards offer collision damage coverage for rented vehicles, but not all
rental companies accept this coverage. At With-U Rent a Car, we honor this benefit,
making it easy to use if your card includes it. We recommend checking with your
bank to confirm this coverage before your trip. That way, you can take full advantage
of it during your rental.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
This coverage protects the driver by limiting responsibility for damages to the rented
vehicle, with a maximum deductible. Depending on the type of vehicle, this
deductible can range between $950 and $2500 USD, ensuring that in case of
damages, you’ll only be responsible for up to that limit.
Comprehensive Insurance
Comprehensive insurance covers all damage to the rented vehicle. To ensure fast
and efficient assistance, it’s crucial to report any incident to With-U Rent a Car
immediately. We are always ready to assist and manage the situation efficiently,
ensuring your peace of mind throughout the trip. However, it's important to note
that actions considered negligent, as detailed later in this document, are not covered
by this protection.
