1. Acceptance

By using this website and/or placing a reservation you accept these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or complete a booking.

2. Definitions

  • “Company” means INVERSIONES DE COSTA RICA MONTERO Y PORRAS, S.R.L.
  • “User/Customer” means any visitor or person making a booking.
  • “Reservation” means a confirmed rental booking issued by the Company.

3. Booking & confirmation

  • Availability displayed online is indicative. Reservations are confirmed when the Company issues a confirmation email. Check spam/junk folders.
  • Company may request additional documentation (ID, license, payment method) prior to vehicle release.

4. Rates, taxes & payments

  • All rates are subject to seasonal pricing and may vary. (See Seasonal Pricing Notice.)
  • Prices are shown in $ [US Dolar]; taxes and fees may apply. Payment terms (deposit %, full payment) will be specified at checkout. The Company may pre-authorize a security deposit.

5. Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancellation policy will be displayed at booking and in confirmation. Refunds (if any) are processed per policy and may take several business days.
  • Cancellation may apply based in availability of the vehicles.

6. Insurance, waivers & coverage

  • The website describes optional waivers (LDW, SLDW, TPL, LLW). These are contractual waivers, not insurance policies. Coverage, deductibles and applicability are defined in the rental contract and differ by vehicle class and branch. Waivers do not apply in cases of negligence or prohibited use.

7. User responsibilities & accuracy

  • You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activities made under your account or booking.

8. Content accuracy & liability limitation

  • Company endeavors to keep information accurate but does not guarantee error-free content. Company’s liability for website errors is limited to correction or refund where appropriate.

9. Third-party services & links

  • The website may link to third-party services. Company is not liable for third-party content or services.

10. Intellectual property

  • All content is Company property or licensed. Do not reproduce without permission.

11. Privacy & cookies

  • Personal data handled per Company Privacy Policy. By using site you consent to cookies and data processing described in the policy.

12. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by Costa Rica law. Disputes submitted to Costa Rican courts.

13. Changes

  • Company may update Terms; updates apply from posting date.
